Today's Shoes
Gravati three-eyelet plain-toe bluchers in navy blue waterproof suede with a microcellular rubber sole (15445, 433 last). I wore these because more rain was predicted for today, and indeed, I got caught in a thunderstorm without an umbrella when going from the grocery store back to my car. This waterproof suede is as advertised: my feet didn't get wet, and the suede is as good as new after the downpour.

Today's Shoes
Gravati plain-toe three-eyelet bluchers in waterproof navy blue suede with a lightweight microcellular rubber sole (15445, 433 last). I bought these (on sale) from Harold's in the Heights a couple of years ago, and they do very well, particularly in the rain. Jim Pierce brought this model in in four different colors: navy blue suede, black suede, dark brown suede, and a pale olive green suede. I wish that I had bought all four. Yes, even the pale olive green suede.

Today's Shoes
Gravati plain-toe four-eyelet bluchers in waterproof blue suede with a microcellular rubber sole (15445, last 433). Wearing Italian shoes on Independence Day, you ask? Well, I'm not proud of it, but it is rainy outside today, and none of my decent American shoes are waterproof. And, in my defense, these shoes are blue.
