Back in the days of the AFL, the San Diego Chargers wore white helmets, white pants, and powder blue jerseys, as in the picture to the right (worn recently during one of the NFL's throwback weekends). They were great, probably the best uniforms in the history of football. Well, I got excited this afternoon when I saw that the Chargers changed their helmets from the dark blue ones that they have had for many years back to the white ones that they entered football with (well, almost -- no numbers on the side, but otherwise the same). My excitement was quickly dashed when I realized that they had only changed the helmets and that the powder blue jerseys are not coming back. Come on, Chargers, do the right thing! Powder blue rules!

Powder Blue
