Mephisto Allrounders sport shoes (or sport-like shoes, I guess) with elastic gores in taupe suede and black neoprene with a rubber cleated sole (Arto model). Ugly but comfortable (a familiar refrain from me, isn't it). They are more attractive than some of the garbage I saw out and about today. Why must everybody wear flip-flops?

Today's Shoes

Ugly but comfortable (a familiar refrain from me, isn't it). They are more attractive than some of the garbage I saw out and about today. Why must everybody wear flip-flops?

I will forgive you only if you stop using the phrase, "ugly but comfortable." No one is allowed to use that excuse. The shoes aren't ugly. They have a certain utilitarian appeal. But you know how many shoes are out there -- there is just no excuse for ugly.
